Trip 1, travelogue:
Seasonal Work, Summer 2018
Who: I moved to Alaska, by myself, knowing nobody. Though, during my time here, I met some of my closest friends in the entire world to explore with.
What: Taking a seasonal summer job that allowed me to visit Alaska long-term.
When: May-September, 2018
Where: Cooper Landing, Homer, Seward, Kenai, Anchorage, Hatcher’s Pass, Girdwood, etc.
Why: I needed a change. I wanted to be in nature. I was seeking a job that allowed me to make some money and have a unique experience at the same time.
Trip 2, travelogue:
11 Days, 2019
Who: I planned this trip to visit my friends in Alaska and have more adventures with them.
What: Attending the Salmonfest Music Festival and visiting my old stomping grounds from Trip 1.
When: July-August 2019
Where: Cooper Landing, Ninilchik, Seward
Why: The music festival served as the ‘perfect excuse’ for me to plan a trip back to Alaska. The mountains were calling me back, and I had to go.
